Editorial Policy
How SolviqLab sources evidence, reviews calculators and coach content, handles corrections, and keeps editorial decisions independent of any commercial signal.
1. Sourcing standards
Health calculators cite primary literature (peer-reviewed journals indexed in PubMed) and guideline bodies (WHO, CDC, NIH, NHS/NICE). Finance calculators cite regulator or standards bodies (CFPB, IRS, NIST, ISO). We prefer meta-analyses and cohort studies over single trials, and we surface PMIDs or DOIs inline via <cite> so any reader can verify the source.
2. Review process
Every Platinum-tier calculator is reviewed against a 161-check standard (STD-PLATINUM) covering formula accuracy, clinical/financial context, unit consistency, accessibility, structured data, i18n parity, and content originality. Named subject-matter reviewers or standards bodies are cited on each page with role, credentials, and last-review date.
3. Corrections and updates
If you find a factual error, a broken source, or a formula deviation, please email hello@solviqlab.com with the URL and a description. Confirmed corrections are shipped within 72 hours, and the page receives a fresh dateModified. Substantive changes (formula, threshold, clinical interpretation) are noted in the page's changelog and re-reviewed.
4. Independence from commercial signal
SolviqLab does not run display ads on calculator pages and does not accept payment to alter formulas, thresholds, or recommendations. AI-coach recommendations are generated from the user's inputs and cited standards only — never from sponsored placements.
5. Medical and financial disclaimer
Calculators are educational tools. Health results are not a diagnosis; finance results are not personalized advice. Consult a qualified clinician or licensed financial professional for decisions about your care or money.
6. AI-generated content policy
Coach responses and per-locale translations use large language models under human editorial review. Numeric outputs (formulas, thresholds, unit conversions) are always deterministic — never LLM-generated — and are covered by unit tests before ship.
